General Studies

 

Purpose

The General Studies program provides the first two years of many four-year college or university majors.  A challenging core of requirements is augmented by selected general electives which will be chosen from the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and mathematics.  After completing the first two years at Dabney S. Lancaster Community College (DSLCC), the student will be able to transfer into the third year of a four-year college or university.
